Title1

The Legend of the Cyclesmith and Lady Light

Devoni Some people say that when they met Devoni Omigan that night he was apparently behaving like a puppet, completely lost and shocked after what he had lived. Others say that he suddenly recovered his mind when the Wise Man saved the Cyclesmith. Other people believe it happened exactly at midnight. That very night, Devoni said the Cyclesmith threatened his wife in order to know the secret of the Liquor of Light.

He said the husband became crazy as his whife refused to share her secret and he killed her, setting fire to her cloths. He said the Cyclesmith screamed because Lady Light never told the secret. That night, the citizens came back in the streets of Time City with a prisoner, leaving the Park burning and the corpse of the woman lying where she had accidently died.

The Cyclesmith opened his eyes in a dark prison cell a few days after the tragedy. Time City had lived its first moments without light in the streets at night and without love in its heart. Burned everywhere, disfigured by the wounds of the fire and hardly able to walk, the Cyclesmith was about to be judge the next day by the citizens in the Public Square. After bringing him to the main place of the town, they surrounded him, looking at his face as if he was an ugly widget; as if he was an Imp they could mock and play with. Those who used to smile at him were now pointing at him, gossiping and making scary faces. As he was getting dizzy, all the citizens were mysteriously changing, becoming fat in their heart and tortured in their eyes.
