The Legend of the Cyclesmith and Lady Light

Devoni Omigan was collecting the steel, but also selling and delivering the candles. Popular and very important to the economic and social life of Time City he was helping The Cyclesmith in other duties as a first class assistant. Even though the Cyclesmith and Lady Light were extremely attached to him, not only because they needed his help but also because they had been working together forever, Devoni had developed over the years a feeling of self importance and incredible desire of what he didn't have: the secret of the Liquor of Life.

With the time, a growing endeavor for power and knowledge had led him searching at night this secret. His first step on the road to damnation was to kidnap and have surgery on a girl deeply in love with a gardener in order to study her heart. He thought he could find the secret of love and create a liquor out of it. Of course he didn't find anything except screams and blood. After killing her Devoni Omigan took the dead girl’s body to the Park of Time City and buried it deep enough so no one could ever find it.

On his way back to town after completing this very macabre behavior he heard the voices of the Cyclesmith and Lady Light who were apparently working late. Silently he came closer to spy them for a few minutes. They had built a pedestal on which they were setting up a new street light. Both standing on the same ladder, it was the first light they were creating in the Park. While the Cyclesmith was counterbalancing the ladder, Lady Light was pouring liquor in the tank of the new streetlight.
