The Legend of the Cyclesmith and Lady Light

Clock In order for the juice to become the appropriate alcohol, Lady Light had to be very carefull. She had to make sure that exactly 8 days, 8 hours and 8 minutes were spent in between two distillations. If this condition was not respected the liquor could not be as powerful as expected. Once the alcohol was made, it had to be stored in specific phials, crafted by the Cyclesmith. They had to be all dark and required to be blown with specific black sand obtained by cooking regular sand in a black ink oven.

Before the glassware had cooled down, when it was still hot and glowing, the Cyclesmith had to dip each phial in a jar of ash that would cover the whole surface of the object and prevent any source of light from shining out. They were called “Guardian Phials” in reference to their ability to store the light of the Liquor of Light.
